Kazimiya Hatim, 104, named as oldest Hajj pilgrim

JEDDAH: A 104-year-old woman from Iraq has been identified as the oldest Hajj pilgrim to visit the Kingdom so far this year.

Kazimiya Hatim was welcomed with great fanfare when she arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah on May 25.

More than 33,000 Iraqi pilgrims are expected to visit Saudi Arabia during the Hajj period.

Iraqi agent Ali Abd Al-Rida Khazim accompanied Kazimiya from Madinah to Makkah aboard the Al-Haramain train, after performing their visit to the Prophet’s Mosque.
